prepaid verizon cell phones used on a regular plan?
can you buy a prepaid verizon cell phone, and take it to the verizon wireless store and ask them to put your number, that is on your plan, on it? in other words can i buy a cheap phone from target or wherever cause mine broke, and ask them to switch numbers for me?
Unfortunately, while you can do this with many companies who use sim cards, Verizon is CDMA and will not allow you to use a prepaid handset on a contract account.
They are two completely different things as far as Verizon is concerned, even though the actual phone model may be identical.
Your best bet is to check ebay or craigslist for someone selling a used Verizon phone at a good price.
