Tmobile Phones Without Plans
Can the Tmobile Dash and MDA use WiFi for IE internet browsing without purchasing data plan on a home network?
I'm looking to purchase either the Tmobile Dahs or MDA because of the WiFi but I have been told by different people 1)you need to purchase the tmobile data plan to have wifi activated on the phone or 2) you can access wifi connect points without purchasing the data plan. Being that my work and home are both wireless, I really want to be able to use this phone to get online, but don't want to have to purchase a data plan that I will not use (and that costs $30/month!). Any help would be great. Thanks!
Also, which device do you like better and why?
no you don't have to purchase the plan. i'm using dash now, i using the wifi all around the places which could connect to someone else wireless network.
