Fed up with Big B?

Seriously. I mean what the ****. In a country of more than 1 billion these guys can find only one person every time? The whole weekend I saw three "exclusive", "exclusive" interviews of Amitabh Bachhan on three different news channels. Not only that, every second advertisement on TV has Amitabh Bacchan in it. Pen, chocolate, credit card, hajmola, India, Samajwadi Party, and you name it and Bacchan does a commercial for it.

And I am not talking about bollywood, where every movie has Amitabh Bachhan in one form or another. The saddest part is, that year after year Amitabh Bachhan is that voted as the "Indian of the year", by plethora of news channels which conduct sms polls.

I don't have any issues with Amitabh Bachhan. But this is getting *******ing annoying. I mean you don't want to see a 65+ year old, bollywood actor every time you open the TV.

I don't know whether Amitabh Bachhan is really that popular or he is being made popular by the media?

me personally i do not think tht celebrities should even appear on news channel. I mean if Abhishek Bachan get's married, i don't really care. Instead they should show the genocide in Darfur going on or the protests in turkey. Same thing i experienced but at a smaller scale. Britney Spears had a baby and it was all over the place and i was like WHO CARES! IF SOME IDIOT HAD A BABY!
